What is the Audiobook in a Box?
We send a professional SHURE microphone, a laptop, a tablet pre-loaded with the PDF of your book, and a stand to your door. We walk you through setup, edit as you record, and pick the box back up when you finish.
What if I’m not sure my voice is good enough?
Bob’s public speaking experience and Michael’s editing skills help you bring out the best in your voice. Email a 3–5 minute narration sample to bob@audiobookexperts.com, and we’ll send back a polished clip so you can hear what we can create together.
Do I have to read my book word for word?
You can put your own spin on it. Many of our authors enjoy letting the personality their readers know and love shine through in their audiobook.
How long does editing and uploading take?
Our workflow allows us to have your audiobook edited and ready for upload within a week of you finishing your recording.
What if I don’t have professional recording equipment?
We assess your current setup on our call and arrange for the equipment you need to arrive at your door. The Audiobook in a Box includes the recording equipment and our personal guidance.
Can you help if I record in a professional studio?
Yes. Michael can work with your audio technician to make sure the recording sounds great and meets audiobook retailers’ technical requirements.
Can you help with my podcast?
Yes, we also offer podcast editing and upload assistance. Contact us to discuss your podcast.
